Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

cjc.cc ("we", "us", or "our") complies with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003, "APPI") and other relevant laws and guidelines, and handles users' personal information appropriately as follows.

1. Information We Collect

In providing the Service, we may collect the following information:

  • Account information: email address, name or display name, password (stored hashed);
  • Payment information: partial card information processed via our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers), and purchase and billing records;
  • Usage information: the sites and applications you create, the content you input to the AI (prompts) and the generated results, and credit-consumption records;
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, cookies, and access logs;
  • Inquiry information: the content of inquiries submitted to our support channels.

2. Purposes of Use

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

  • to provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • account authentication and identity verification;
  • billing, settlement, and management of purchase records;
  • responding to inquiries and providing support;
  • sending important notices and notifications such as changes to the terms;
  • detecting and preventing improper use, and ensuring security;
  • creating statistical data (processed into a form that cannot identify individuals);
  • processing based on laws and regulations.

When changing the purposes of use, we will do so only within a reasonable scope having relevance to the pre-change purposes, and will provide notice on the Service.

3. AI Processing and Handling of Input Data

Content you input to the AI generation features and the generated results are used for the purposes of providing the Service and improving its quality. Some AI processing may be performed on the infrastructure of cloud providers and AI foundation-model providers, whether in or outside Japan, that we engage. We conclude agreements on confidentiality and personal-data protection with such contractors, and take appropriate measures under Article 28 of the APPI (restrictions on provision to third parties in foreign countries).

4. Provision to Third Parties

Except in the following cases, we do not provide personal data to third parties without first obtaining the user's consent:

  • where based on laws and regulations;
  • where necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the person's consent;
  • where cooperation with a state organ or the like is necessary and obtaining consent is likely to impede the performance of such affairs;
  • in the case of outsourcing, business succession, or joint use within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.

5. Cookies and Access Analysis

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain login state, save language settings, and analyze usage. Information collected by access-analysis tools is, in principle, handled in a form that cannot identify individuals. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features of the Service may become unavailable.

6. Security Management Measures

To prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal data and to ensure its safe management, we implement organizational, personnel, physical, and technical security measures, including encryption of communications (HTTPS/TLS), password hashing, minimization of access rights, log monitoring, and employee training. In the event of an incident such as a leak, we will report to the Personal Information Protection Commission and notify the affected individuals in accordance with the APPI.

7. Retention Period and Deletion

We retain personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use. After an account is deleted, except for information required to be retained by law (such as transaction records), we will delete or anonymize the personal data within a reasonable period.

8. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, and Suspension of Use

Under the APPI, you may request disclosure, correction/addition/deletion, suspension of use/erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties with respect to the personal data we hold about you. Upon receiving a request, we will respond within the period prescribed by law after verifying your identity. If a handling fee applies, we will inform you of the amount in advance.

9. Use by Minors

A minor using the Service must first obtain the consent of a parent/guardian or other legal representative. Where we collect a minor's personal information, we likewise require that the consent of the legal representative be obtained.

10. Amendment of this Policy

We may amend this Policy in response to changes in laws or in the content of the Service. Where we make a material change, we will state the effective date and give advance notice on the Service. The amended Policy takes effect from the time it is posted on this page.

11. Contact

For inquiries regarding the handling of personal information and for requests such as disclosure, please contact us via the inquiry form within the Service or the contact details shown in the footer. Our personal-information protection officer will respond.
